Leads Employment Services for skills development

Guest speakers at the Grand Bend and Area Chamber
meeting last week were members of Leads Employment, a no
cost human resources service.
This group's mandate is to provide people with
disabilities/barriers complete customer satisfaction,
through quality services.
Leads Employment Services is a not-for-profit employment
and skills development agency founded in 1986. They have
placed more than 12,500 candidates with more than 10,000
employers.
The Employment Specialists at Leads work with a diverse
range of, well-respected public, private and
not-for-profit sector employers across Southwestern
Ontario.
This no cost service that allows you to get an
understanding of what you need from the very beginning.
At Leads, they work with the employer to assess the
position available, the organization requirements and
the qualifications of the preferred candidate. This cuts
your upfront time and saves recruitment costs. This
company reviews the candidates' experience and
identifies the individuals that would best fit the
opportunity you are offering.
They present you a shortlist of only the most qualified.
The Pinedale Motor Inn saw the great potential for this
service many years ago. Mary Jo Snopko says over the
last five years they have been privileged to have on our
staff at least two Leads employees.

He is a multitalented individual who helps to keep our

Staff Credentials
|
Leads staff is made up of very diverse and experienced professionals who
come from all facets of education and background: accounting, real
estate, business administration, human resources, social work, child and
youth workers, senior management, advertising and marketing, media,
developmental service workers, health care, pension underwriters,
personal support workers, social service workers, air cadets, crisis
counsellors, educators, restaurateurs, employment specialists, computer
specialists, graphic design, guidance & counselling, arts, fitness,
entrepreneurs and sales. Many have their post secondary education in
College certification, Bachelor and Masters Degrees as well as having
certification in specialized areas such as Special Education, Life
Skills, Personality Dimensions, Supported Employment, Not for Profit
Voluntary Management and many more. The dynamics of such diversity in
the Leads’ team has proven to be a strong and successful force in
achieving the balance of providing a good match to employers who are
hiring and people with disabilities and or barriers that have the
abilities and skills to perform the job. Leads strive for continuous
professional development so we may go beyond customer satisfaction,
creating a gainful solution for all. |
