Hourly wage ranges from $25.00-$30.00 for Youth Coach, immediate Employee Assistance Program, and supplementary Health and Dental benefits with six months of service completion. Travel reimbursement is $0.64/KM.

Full-time (35 hours per week) position available in Stratford, Huron and Perth Counties.
Critical and mandatory elements of this position:
- MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE AFTER SCHOOL HOURS AND WEEKEND SERVICES
- Skills Development: Individual skills planning; facilitate workshops, develop modules, train and teach, experiential (work to learn) sessions
- Civic Placement Development and Retention: Placement planning, placement development with and for youth, develop relationships with not-for-profit employers, secure placements, and assist the youth mentor to support youth mentees to retain them (job coaching as required). Strong marketing skills and train the trainer skills are required
- Understanding of funding legislation, rules and procedures of the service, and the necessity to meet contractual targets set forth across service targets
- Must be able to collect and compile data for tracking, assessment, and reporting
- Capitalize on internal services offered at LEADS to support the clients
- Well informed of external services in the communities that can be activated to support the client’s needs
- Flexibility to work hours to accommodate client’s needs which may result in overtime
- Reliable transportation required. The Youth Coach positions are multi-faceted and involve support and follow-up to clients and placement employers throughout the catchment area which often does not have public transport. Travel to these areas may be on a daily basis and often involves short notice. A vehicle is required.
- A current satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check is required.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be able to provide proof of two doses of COVID-19 vaccination or documentation for a medical exemption or reason related to protected grounds under the Human Rights Code as per Provincial Health Care regulations.
- Bilingual in French or other languages is an asset.
- First Aid and CPR certification is an asset and may be required, as applicable per program requirements.

Requirements – you must have:
- An undergraduate degree, graduate degree or Community College diploma in Business/Social Services /Human Services/Education or a relevant field of study and a minimum of three years’ experience in a related Business/Social Services /Human Services/Education or relevant sector.
- Flexibility to work hours to accommodate clients’ needs may result in overtime.
- Reliable transportation to provide services in London and surrounding county areas. A vehicle is required.
- Must be able to provide in-person and some virtual services in London and Area. Redeployment to the outside of London and Area as needed.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Verification of car insurance for business use under your name or willing to obtain.
- A current satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check is required.
